Dr. Achilles Adamantiades, Ph.D. Dr. Adamantiades is an independent Consultant on Energy and the Environment. Previously, he was a Director with the World Bank with responsibilities for world-wide energy issues, particularly as they apply to developing countries.
3.Renewable Energy through Biofuels. Dr. George Phillipidis, Ph.D.
Dr. Philipidis is Co-Director of the Energy business Forum and Associate Director of the Applied Research Center at Floridal International University. He is an international expert in bio-fuels from the technological as well as the business point of view.
4.A Solar Power proposal for Greece. Mr. Anthony Smernes.
Anthony Smernes is an officer/principle in AMG Solar company which has sought to source utility-scale solar projects which qualify for the Greek and E.U. alternative energy incentives. Mr. Smernes will share his experiences in pursuing Solar Power business in Greece.
5.The Cal West Ethanol/Renew Energy Project. Mr. James Kakridas. Mr. Kakridas is a principal in Renew Energy EU. Renew Energy EU is a joint venture of Renew Energy LLC (Wisconsin) and cal West Investment Corporation (California) and is in the process of building two bio-fuel ethanol plants in Greece. Renew Energy LLC owns and operates two ethanol plants in Wisconsin, one of which is the Jefferson plant – the largest ethanol plant in the US. Mr. Kakridas will discuss the details of the project in Greece.
